Hello IMBBians,
We all must keep our face clean in order to achieve a beautiful skin. There are several cleansing products available in the market today. I picked up this face gel from Balea for summers. Read on to know more.
Price and Quantity: $2 for 150 ml
Product Description:
The Balea Cleansing Wash Gel with Fruit Acid is specially designed for mixed skin and skin that is prone to impurities. The light peel effect of the mild fruit acid removes old skin cells, the pores appear less clearly. The mild formulation with sweet wood extract has a soothing effect. Panthenol also protects the skin from drying out.
Ingredients:
Aqua | alcohol denat. | decyl glucoside | glycerin | dehydroxanthan gum | bambusa arundinacea stem powder | sodium cocoamphoacetate | panthenol | malic acid | parfum | phenoxyethanol | benzyl alcohol | potassium sorbate | dipotassium glycyrrhizate | citric acid | tocopherol | limonene | hexyl cinnamal | linalool | geraniol | citronellol
My Experience with Balea Cleansing Face Gel with Fruit Acid:
The Cleansing gel comes in a green tube packaging with a green flip cap. The product comes unsealed, and when you hold it against the light, you can see the quantity of the product left in the tube. The flip cap closes with a click and there are no chances of leakage, making the product travel-friendly.
The packaging is pretty basic and has basic information on the back. The cleansing gel is transparent in color and has a semi-thick consistency. It smell refreshing and a bit fruity, citrus-like. There are very tiny particles in the product that help in exfoliating the skin. The gel spreads easily and lathers well.
Since there are exfoliating granules, care must be taken near the eye area as these particles are pretty harsh. A little product is enough to remove dirt from the face. The granules feel very soft on the face and do not cause any redness or irritation. But, I wouldn’t recommend the product for sensitive skin. The gel cleanses the face thoroughly, hence my skin feels very clean after each wash. I love the capability with which it removes all the dirt and grime from the face.
I use the product to remove my makeup in the evening and it works well. It removes makeup, and when I use a toner, I don’t see any dirt on the cotton pad. I have stopped using a makeup remover since this product does the job well. The product, even though cleanses the face completely, doesn’t make my skin feel dry. I have not noticed any dryness or stretching on my skin, which is otherwise quite common with such products. However, a moisturizer is a must!
The product didn’t cause any breakouts. I have noticed that the face gel also controls sebum production on the skin. I felt my skin was less oily when I use the face wash. The presence of granules gives a gentle peeling effect and thus gets rid of all the dead skin cells and gently exfoliates the face. My face feels very radiant and fresh.
The pores also look very refined and my face looks refined and matte. The product is made for combination skin keeping in mind the different areas. Thus, while it removes the oil, it also makes sure that it doesn’t overdo and retains the natural moisture. The product is 2-in-1 and I am in love with it. The product doesn’t contain parabens, is easily affordable and vegan.
