I'm not one to do a ton of intricate glitter placement, but I do love gradient glitter placement, especially with a variety of sizes. These placements are totally achievable by anyone, since there's no rhyme or reason. You just place them however!

These are typical mermaid colors: green, orange, blue, in iridescent colors.

I decided to go full on mermaid colors, but use a pale green base of Lechat Cucumber Mint. After the second coat, I added glitters randomly over my nail. I had some fun layering, where glitters stuck to each other and I let it be. That's why on my ring nail, you can see a darker orange circle. I like how the colors look over the pale base, and they would be awesome over a darker base.
