The Harry Potter star’s time at the US Ivy League college ends on May 25 when she receives her degree in English literature.
Emma began studying at Brown in 2009 but 18 months later she was forced to take a leave of absence to continue her filming commitments.
During the next academic year in 2011 she spent time learning at Worcester College, Oxford.
The 24-year-old recently described her experience of being a famous actress at Brown as quite intense: “I guess everyone in their freshman [first] year is nervous and figuring it all out.
"I think people took pity on me. ‘She’s English, she doesn’t really know where she’s going.’
"Brown were weirdly protective of me. They saw it as their role to help me have that experience.”
She added that her father Chris has been waiting for her to don a cap and gown but was left confused about the American schooling system.“
My parents can’t really get their heads around it,” said Emma.
“In England we graduate in three years and my dad’s like, ‘When is this happening? When is graduation because you’ve been doing this now for ages?’ He’s very impatient."
