Zara are too small for Americans- apparently!

There seems to be a lot of American bloggers giving out at the moment about Zara. Well mainly about Zara and their clothing sizes which are tiny.

To be fair, the complaint in America is about the clothing sizes being too small in terms of body weight. There are a lot of girls who welcome the smaller sizes as they are petite and have spoken out in support of the store. However, I have to say I agree with the complaints.

I am tall. I'm 6ft tall without heels on. If I shop in Zara, I find the trousers/jeans come down to my ankle (and not in a way were they are meant to) and the arms on jackets are up around my elbows. It's to the point where I just don't shop there even though I love their style.

I must say though, I hate their stores. I find them very stuffy and out of touch. I find the sales assistants friendly but I feel for them in their stuffy black suits. They must feel awful wearing that during the summer. I guess it's Zara's way of avoiding having to give them a uniform allowance. But that to me is part of the fun of shopping - seeing what the sales people have on and how they have styled it. I have often found great things that way!

I think Zara are going to have to change their sizes - or better yet - don't. Just include MORE sizes so tall freaks like me can shop there and larger ladies can shop there too!

Anyone else have any issues with Zara?
