Ya os he hablado de las modelos que desfilarán para VS este año. Ahora os quiero dar mi opinión sobre los ángeles y las modelos con contrato.
ANGELS:
Adriana Lima
Adriana was my favourite back in 2008. But I don't really like her anymore. Some people say this is her ( and Ale's) last show and, I think it might be time for her to leave. She has a lot of presence and is very popular, but it's also boring to see her doing the same things over and over again. Too intense.
Adriana era mi favorita en 2008. Ya no me gusta tanto. Alguna gente dice que este es su último desfile (y el de Ale), y creo que puede que si sea hora de que se vaya. Tiene mucha presencia y es muy popular, pero ya es algo aburrido verla hacer lo mismo una y otra vez. Demasiado intensa.
Alessandra Ambrosio
Ale wasn't my favourite when I discovered VS, but she grew on me. She's got a great personality that makes her likeable. Also, I think she's a great model. I've been showing you a couple of her eds lately, to prove how versatile she can be.
If she leaves VS, I'll miss her. But she has a lot of projects that will keep her occupied.
Alessandra no era mi favorita cuando descubrí VS, pero me fue ganando poco a poco. Tiene una gran personalidad que hace que caiga bien. Y además, es una gran modelo. Os he enseñado últimamente algunos editos suyos, para probar lo versátil que es.
Si deja VS la echaré de menos. Pero tiene muchos proyectos que la mantendrán ocupada.
Behati Prinsloo
I used to like how quirky she was when she was a HF model. Now that's she's skinnier and blonder, I don't like her as much. She used to be ok on the runway, but now she spends all her time blowing kissed to her husband.
She's opening the show this year, and I understand why. I don't think she's the perfect model for the task, but I think she can do it decently.
Me solía gustar su forma de ser cuando era modelo de HF. Ahora que esta más delgada y más rubia, no me gusta tanto. En pasarela solía ser normal, pero ahora se pasa el rato lanzando besos a su marido.
Va a abrir el desfile este año, y entiendo la razón. No creo que sea la modelo perfecta para la tarea encomendada, pero creo que lo puede hacer bien.
Candice Swanepoel
I used to like Candice a lot. Then VS insisted on making her their main angel, and it was a bit too much. She was everywhere, yet nobody really knew who she was.
She opened the show twice and even her fans admit she wasn't the right person to do it. However, my biggest complaint is that she's a really bad spokesperson. Her English is good (better than Adri's, for example), but she always speaks with this soft voice to sound sexy but innocent, and I can't understand her properly. I get bored when she speaks.
Me solía gustar Candice, y mucho. Luego VS insistió en hacerla su ángel principal, y fue demasiado. Estaba en todas partes, y a la vez nadie sabía quien era.
Abrió el desfile dos veces, e incluso sus fans admiten que no era la persona adecuada para hacerlo. Sin embargo, mi mayor queja es lo mala que es como portavoz de la marca. Su inglés es bueno (mejor que el de Adri, por ejemplo), pero siempre habla con esa vocecilla con la que intenta ser sexy pero inocente, y me cuesta entenderla. Me aburre cuando habla.
Doutzen Kroes
Doutzen should be the main angel when Adri and Ale leave. However, I doubt that will happen.
She has contracts with important brands (H&M, L'oreal, Calvin Klein,...), and the fact that she doesn't want to be an exclusive for VS, like Adri and Ale were in the past, makes it difficult for her to become their most important angel.
But she has it all: gorgeous, great personality, popular, good spokesperson,...
Doutzen debería ser el ángel principal cuando Adri y Ale dejen la marca. Sin embargo, dudo que eso suceda.
Tiene contratos con importantes marcas (H&M, L'oreal, Calvin Klein,...), y el hecho de no querer trabajar de manera exclusiva para VS, como hicieron Adri y Ale en el pasado, hace difícil que pueda convertirse en su ángel más importante.
Pero lo tiene todo: es preciosa, con gran personalidad, popular, buena portavoz,...
Karlie Kloss
I never imagined myself saying this but, Karlie is a great angel.
At first I thought she was too perfect for HC, and she shouldn't do VS. But she proved me wrong. She showed us she can do both HF and commercial things, and she can be great at both.
She's an amazing spokesperson, which is something VS needs. She's getting more popular everyday, and her body and her walk are amazing.

Nunca imaginé que diría esto pero, Karlie es un gran ángel.
Al principio pensé que era demasiado perfecta para HC, y no debía hacer VS. Pero me ha demostrado que estaba equivocada. Nos ha demostrado a todos que puede hacer cosas de HF y de tipo comercial, siendo genial en ambas.
Es una gran portavoz, lo cual necesita VS. Y cada día es más popular. Y su cuerpo y sus forma de desfilar son una pasada.

Lily Aldridge
Lily is my least favourite angel. I don't think she's special at all. I know she has a famous husband and blah blah blah,...but really, she's not a good model.
Lily es mi ángel menos favorito. No le veo nada especial. Se que tiene un marido famoso y bla bla bla...pero en serio, no es buena modelo.
Lindsay Ellingson
It looks like this may be Lindsay's last show as an angel. To be honest, I don't mind. She's pretty but super bland.
Parece que esta va a ser el último desfile de Lindsay como ángel. Si os soy sincera, me da igual. Es guapa pero muy sosina.
CONTRACTED MODELS:
Elsa Hosk
Is Elsa an angel? I don't know. She has been a spokesperson for the PINK line, but it looks like she's doing more mainline know. Also, her agency said something about her becoming an angel, but there's no official announcement yet.
She's pretty, and seems to have a cute personality. Is she good enough to be an angel? Only time will tell.
¿Es Elsa un ángel? No lo se. Ha sido la portavoz de la línea PINK durante los últimos años, pero ahora parece que está haciendo más cosinas de la línea general. Su agencia ha comentado algo de un contrato de ángel, pero no hay un anuncio oficial aún.
Es guapa y parece tener una buena personalidad. ¿Es suficientemente buena para ser un ángel? Solo el tiempo nos puede contestar a esa pregunta.
Jasmine Tookes
Jasmine made her VS debut two years ago.
This year, she confirmed her presence in the show before the castings began, which makes me think she didn't need to attend them.
She has a perfume contract with the brand, and has featured in their commercials. That's why I think she's under some kind of contract.
Is she an angel? I don't think so. But she may become an angel in the future.

Este año confirmó su presencia en el desfile antes de que los castings empezaran. Por lo tanto pienso que ni tuvo que asistir a ellos.
Tiene un contrato de una fragancia de la marca, y ha estado en sus últimos comerciales. Por eso considero que debe tener algún tipo de contrato.
¿Es un ángel? No creo, pero puede serlo en el futuro.
Lais Ribeiro
Is Lais an angel? I don't know either.
She's been working a lot for the brand in the past years, but they never seem to call her an angel. It may be because she's a horrible spokesperson. She can't speak proper English, and that's bad.

Ha estado trabajando mucho para la marca durante los últimos años, pero nunca parecen llamarla ángel. Puede ser porque es una horrible portavoz. No habla bien el inglés y eso es malo.
Martha Hunt
Is Martha an angel? Who knows...
She's been working a lot for VS, and she's in their commercials. But last year she only got one outfit at the show, and it looks like she's only getting one again this year.
I think she'll become an angel.
¿Es Martha un ángel? Quien sabe...
Ha trabajado mucho para la marca, y sale en sus comerciales. Pero el año pasado solo tuvo un pase, y parece que este año va a ser más de lo mismo.
Creo que si se convertirá en ángel.
FIT MODEL:
Barbara Fialho
The fit model works with the brand more than other models. She has to try every single outfit, and she usually ends up being an angel (like Candice, Ale, Lindsay,...). I don't see Barbara becoming an angel, to be honest. She doesn't have what it takes.
La fit model trabaja con la marca más que otras modelos. Ha de probarse todos los pases, y suele terminar convirtiéndose en ángel (como Candice, Ale, Lindsay,...). No veo a Barbara convirtiéndose en ángel, la verdad. No tiene lo que hace falta.
